Reesey, there is greatness inside of you that you haven’t even discovered yet. There will be dreams you haven’t dreamed, gifts you haven’t uncovered, and opportunities you can’t even imagine right now. Keep learning. Keep smiling. Keep being courageous. Keep treating people well. And most importantly, keep preparing for the person God created you to become.

There will be days when things don’t come easily. That’s okay. Champions aren’t made because everything goes their way. They’re built by learning to keep going, keep believing, and keep preparing even when something is difficult.

And behind this young king stands something priceless: parents who believed in him before he was old enough to fully understand what belief meant.

Mom and Dad, one day those little shoes will become bigger shoes. That little hand you’re holding will become the hand of a young man walking into his own purpose. The voice calling your name today will grow deeper. The hugs may change. The first days of school will eventually become graduations, careers, accomplishments, and new chapters of his own.

And you’ll wonder where the time went.

So treasure this version of him.

Because while you’re busy raising Reesey, you’re also building memories he’ll carry for the rest of his life. Every sacrifice he doesn’t see, every prayer he doesn’t hear, every early morning, every lesson, every correction, every hug, and every time you tell him, “You can do it” is helping construct the man he’ll eventually become.

Reesey, years from now, when you see this picture again, remember the people who stood behind the camera, tied the shoes, prepared the clothes, encouraged the dreams, prayed the prayers, and made sure you walked into the world knowing you were loved.

Make them proud. But even greater, become the man they always knew you could be.
