Some pictures become more meaningful with time.
Years from now, these Hanna seniors will look back and remember the lights, the teammates, the families in the stands, and the feeling of representing something bigger than themselves.
Today, we celebrate these student athletes, leaders, goal getters, and proud Major Prep representers with a message we hope stays with them:
Be proud of how far you have come. Stay committed to how far you can go.
Senior year holds a lot of lasts. The last home games. The final practices together. The familiar routines you will eventually miss. Appreciate them. Tell your teammates what they mean to you. Thank the people who helped you reach this moment.
Then take everything this chapter has taught you and put it to work in the next one.
The discipline of showing up. The courage to accept correction. The responsibility of knowing other people depend on you. Those lessons can serve you in college, a career, a business, and the families you may build one day.
Give your dreams the same commitment you give your team.
Write down what you want. Learn what it requires. Ask questions. Apply for opportunities before doubt talks you out of trying. When a door closes, seek feedback, adjust your approach, and keep moving.
Chase your dreams relentlessly, with enough humility to learn and enough faith to begin again.
You will have days when you feel uncertain. Reach out to someone who believes in you. You do not have to figure out your future alone.
To the families watching these young men grow: this moment belongs to you, too. Behind every senior is a history that a photograph can only begin to hold. You remember the younger faces, the earlier dreams, and how quickly the years passed.
May they always know how deeply they are loved, through every achievement and every difficult season.
And fellas, give your families reasons to smile through your character. Keep your word. Respect people. Take your education seriously. Be someone the younger students can look toward and say, “I want to carry myself like that.”
That is what representing Major Prep means.
Preparation. Leadership. Resilience. Faith. Legacy.
Carry those values beyond the uniform. Let them guide your decisions when the crowd goes home and the next chapter asks more of you.
Hanna seniors, we see you. We are proud of you. We believe your goals deserve a serious pursuit.
Finish this chapter with pride. Step into the next one prepared.
Preparation Breeds Greatness.
